執業40餘年，接生過數以萬計的新生命。日夜兢兢業業，年復一年。說不累是騙人的。但當我看見照顧了十個月的媽媽在順利生產後摟抱小生命在懷裡，與爸爸專注的看著剛誕生的寶貝，這畫作般溫馨的景象總是會烙印在我的腦海里--也是一劑強心針，提神劑，注入我疲憊的身體，讓我又充滿了活力。
在每次走入產房看到產檯時，心裡有無限的感觸。有些媽咪在產檢時由她的媽媽或婆婆帶來，會特別提醒她或先生是我接生的。而在臨產時當我指出她也是在同一個產檯出生的（即她媽媽生下她的產檯)，她會感到驚喜，甚至留下感動的淚水，有時不禁脫口而出「我更能體會我母親生我時的辛苦。」我通常會回答「所以你要多孝順媽媽。」
在京都設立的足立產婦人科有超過百年的歷史，其醫院的目標是「提供願意再生一個的分娩」。我也希望木生能以此為目標，持續的照顧媽媽們。
註ㄧ： 有些媽媽會特別在門診時帶兒女會見我指出我是他的接生醫師，並與我合照。看著親自接生的嬰兒健康長大，是人生一大樂事。

Over the 40 years of my career in obstetrics so far, I have delivered several tens of thousands of babies. There has not been a day go by without challenges both physically and mentally. But to see a mother whom i have cared for in the last 40 weeks finally holding her baby is an uplifting experience.
Whenever I see the operating table in the delivery suite, many stories would come up my mind. One of the most mesmerising experience would be to learn that the patient's mother was also my patient. Because this operating table has been in use (and still in good condition!) since I opened Musoon Clinic, my patient would have also been delivered on the same table as her mother. "Now I can relate more to how difficult it was for my own mother when she had me!" I would often reply "So you need to be reciprocate the love!"
Adachi Women's Hospital in Kyoto has been around for more than a century. Their motto is "to provide mothers with excellent delivery experience so they are not afraid to come back". I hope Musoon's Clinic will continue to strife for the same experience for mothers.
